Hunger is a private, not-for-profit, effort to
confront the approximately 68 hours of hunger that some school children
experience between the free lunch they receive in school on Friday afternoon and
the free breakfast they receive in school on Monday morning.

Riobamba is an
Ecuadorian-Lithuanian DJ, event-maker, and writer based in Brooklyn. Riobamba
has recently returned to the States after spending a year in Bogotá, Columbia,
where she immersed herself in club culture, and research funded by the
Fulbright-mtvU program. Her research, focusing on urban music culture,
investigated instances of new levels of artistic agency and self-representation
for musicians powered by low-barrier, democratized access to digital music
production tools and distribution networks.

reading of Shakespeare’s CORIOLANUS, a play touching upon the importance of
civil dialogue between the people and their leadership. This is an action to
both reconfirm our commitment to keeping art in the heart of the city and to
move the current dialogue regarding the state of art in the city forward in the
only way we know how: through Shakespeare.
WHO: All are welcome. This event
is open to and free for all; we only ask that all attendees remain completely
silent throughout the reading.
